Tivoli Gardens - May 2024
We recently (ok, not that recently we’ve been busy so taken a while to edit!) went to Copenhagen and Malmö for Eurovision and while in Copenhagen thought we’d visit Tivoli Gardens.
We have been before about 8 years ago, but we only went in the evening for a few hours and didn’t go on any rides. This time was all about the rides though!
Tivoli Gardens is often credited with being the inspiration for Disneyland in California, and wandering around it’s pretty easy to spot the similarities!
We got to the park for opening at 11am and stayed until about 7pm. We were able to do all the rides we wanted to do multiple times, played on the side show games, got lunch and generally had an awesome time!
Our tickets cost 419 Danish Krone (c. £47) per person which covered entrance and unlimited rides. With some rides costing around 60 Danish Krone (c. £7) a ride, we definitely got our monies worth!
We will definitely be back to Tivoli soon as it is only a short flight and super easy to get to.
